Poster4Tomorrow Freedom of Expression Exhibitions Open Worldwide

The 100 winning posters from a competition sponsored by Poster4Tomorrow, Designers Working 4 Freedom of Espression, opens worldwide today in 22 coordinated locations.

The jury included Marjane Satrapi, the author and filmmaker of Persepolis; prominent Iranian graphic designers Reza Abedini and Saed Meshki; internationally renowned graphic designers Alain Le Quernec, Pierre Bernard and Woody Pirtle; and Tommaso Minnetti and Pasquale Volpe, founders of the world’s largest social communication project Good50x70.

A European initiative, sponsored in part by the Council of Europe and UNESCO, Poster4Tomorrow is organized by 4tomorrow, Associazione Culturale, GoodDesign, HM Studio and is related to Good50x70, which is an international poster competition to donate design to charities involved in issues such as women's rights, child labor, and climate change.

The Freedom of Expression posters are powerful, moving and encouraging. So is the energetic social spirit of the organizers and participants.

What to do in a slow economy? Work like this!
