1_E-mail addresses and phone numbers of cool new acquaintances. Check!

2_Scribbled notes from inspiring preso's. Check!

3_Mental 'Post-It's about clothing: find that t-shirt that one guy had; remember to bring more comfortable shoes to next conference; black, sadly is still the new black. Check!

4_Remember to tell EVERYONE who's coming to Austin about that amazing restaurant. Check!

5_Pack away the party memories: She didn't really say THAT, did she? I really didn't say THAT, did I? We didn't all dance to THAT, did we? What happens in Austin . . .  Check!

6_Make sure to write down somewhere those 2 or 3 pieces of design that really seemed to point ahead to the look of the 2000-teens. Check!

7_Buy a bigger carry-on bag for those impulse-buy cowboy boots. Check!

8_Remember to tell 'em at work that, big picture, people were astonishingly idealistic for a recession year. Check!

9_Promise self to allow a couple hours of breathing room before diving into the huge pile of accumulated e-mail. Check!

10_Get back in touch with the excitement of why we get into this crazy business in the first place -- there really ARE Ideas That Matter. Check!
