Pray for your wrists

Over early morning coffee a design director colleague tells us the story of yet another young designer to fall to the dreaded Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

SOUND FX: Muted wail as designer tumbles off of swiftly-moving train.

So, we both resolved to preach to our respective flocks about the importance of stretching those forearms to give those poor wrists a break. The hand position of prayer turns out to be a devlishly good stretch for the appropriate muscles. See Yahoo's article on the Prayer Stretch, or a moving version by yoga man Daniel Will-Harris.

Try it . . . now . . . and breathe . . . and again . . . and breathe . . .
